Onboarding Specialist - Reed : Job Details

This is a fast-paced, process-oriented role where you’ll be part of a collaborative team, guiding candidates through pre-employment checks and clearances. You’ll be working to targets and service level agreements, making sure everything runs like clockwork.

Salary: £24,000 per annum

Duration: 3-month contract

Location: Northampton, NN4

Working arrangements: 5 days in the office

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Creating and issuing offer letters
• Collecting and verifying right-to-work documentation
• Issuing and monitoring screening links
• Supporting candidates through the screening process
• Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate records
• Providing regular updates to hiring managers and candidates

What We’re Looking For:

You don’t need recruitment experience, but we’re keen to hear from people with transferable skills from areas such as:

• Customer service (face-to-face, phone, and email)
• Sales or target-driven environments
• Process-driven roles with a focus on accuracy and compliance

Essential Skills:

• Confident communicator, especially over the phone
• Strong attention to detail
• Good IT literacy and ability to learn new systems
• Team player with a proactive attitude
