Job Description :

We are recruiting for a Ofsted Registered Manager required for a children's residential home based in the Liverpool area.

Are you experienced in providing exceptional care and support to children in a leadership role?

You will oversee and manage a multi bedded children’s residential setting in the Liverpool area, where the emotional well-being, development and safety of our children and young people are at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for a candidate who can join our team to develop the residential by working closely alongside the directors in accordance with the organisation's vision.

Details of the Ofsted Registered Manager Role:

Location: Liverpool based

Type of Home: Multi-bedded children’s home

The Ideal Ofsted Registered Manager will have:

  • Education: A mandatory QCF Level 3 in children and young people.
  • Preferred Qualification: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services (Children and Young People’s Residential Management) or an equivalent recognised qualification.
  • DBS required
  • License: Full Driving License.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience at a senior level in children's residential care. Responsibilities of the Ofsted Registered Manager Role
  • Operate the home in compliance with the Regulations and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act 2016 (RISCA) and company policies.
  • Assist in the setup and registration of the home. Lead and manage a team of staff to provide care in accordance with the organisation's vision.
  • Coordinate and supervise staff, to ensure the household needs is upheld and the environment is maintained well.
  • Ensure the welfare and well-being of the young residents.
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the home, including maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
  • Ensure the home is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
  • Manage household budgets and expenses.
  • Plan and coordinate events and gatherings hosted at the home.
