Office based Business Development Manager - Bridging Finance

Location: London

Reporting to the Managing Director

Our client is a multi-award-winning, short-term property lender that is now looking for an experienced office-based Business Development Manager (BDM) due to business growth and expansion. This unique opportunity is ideal for a highly motivated and driven individual who may have some frustrations within their current firm and would like the ability to work with genuine people, competitive products, and earn more money. The purpose of this position is to provide administrative support to the field-based business development team and assist in delivering excellent service across the department, and to our brokers and clients.

Responsibilities:

• Proactive in following up indicative terms and AIPs (Agreement in Principle) with intermediary relationships.
• To assess & reply to enquiries received via telephone & online channels.
• To submit accurate AIP submissions to credit for approval.
• To package & submit new applications to the CA team (Credit Analyst Team) ensuring online ID & other documents are received.
• To support the field-based business development team with enquiries / AIPs and assist with other matters which may arise while out of the office.
• To assist CA team with valuation & solicitors quotes, including seeking alternative/best quotes.
• Source and engage with new brokers via outbound telephone calls.

Candidate:

• We would like someone that has a positive outlook and is willing to get stuck in and make things happen!
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience. (We cannot consider jumpy CV’s. We would like to see some stability within your career.)
• We would consider someone that has worked for a mortgage packager or network.
• A Bridging & Property Finance background is highly desirable.
• Ability to communicate on different levels, both verbally and in writing.
• Confident presenting in front of small and large audiences.
• Excellent presentation (verbal/written) and relationship building skills.
• Ability to collaborate, build trust and influence.
• Demonstrable professional integrity and a strong work ethic.

Package:

• Salary up to £40k.
• Bonus paid quarterly and annually.
