Job Description :

Our client, a leading and expanding manufacturing organisation, established for over 30 years in Tamworth, is seeking Office Administrators along with Operational Support staff to join their well-established team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a business renowned for its innovation, high-quality products, and excellent customer relationships.

Salary/Hours:

Salary is up to £27,000 depending on experience. Hours of work will be 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. Please note this is an office-based position.

Responsibilities as an Office Administrator:

You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth operations across the business, providing first-class customer service and administrative support. Responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating with internal departments to ensure smooth operations, stock management, and order processing (including replacements and marketing/sample requests).
  • Managing deliveries and collections: scheduling with customers, liaising with carriers, investigating issues, monitoring performance, and preparing customs/NI documentation.
  • Handling customer and admin enquiries, managing daily delivery reports, resolving claims, and maintaining accurate records and archives.
  • Producing and analysing reports to identify trends, resolve issues, and provide updates to management.
  • Providing general administrative support, including reception, switchboard overflow, and other ad-hoc tasks.

What we are looking for in an Office Administrator:

  • Previous experience working within a customer service or administrative position
  • A personable, professional, and approachable individual with excellent communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel (essential)
  • Sage experience is desirable but not essential

Salary : 26000 - 27000
