Office Administrator & Bookkeeper

Reed is collaborating with a leader in the fashion industry. Who are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Office Admin & Bookkeeper to manage the financial and administrative functions of their West London studio. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in bookkeeping and a knack for maintaining an organised and inclusive workplace.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Manage all financial records and bookkeeping using Xero, ensuring accurate financial documentation and compliance with both HMRC and internal policies.
- Categorise and code all expenses accurately.
- Prepare monthly financial reports for leadership review.
- Handle sales tax filings and assist with company tax obligations.
- Generate and track wholesale invoices and payments.
- Assist with year-end closing and data preparation for the accountant.
- Serve as the primary support person for general staff enquiries, fostering a positive, respectful, and inclusive studio environment.
- Process monthly payroll and team expenses, ensuring staff contracts are up-to-date and filed.
- Manage new starter onboarding, employee documentation, and offboarding processes.
- Assist with recruitment by managing candidate applications, tracking, and interview scheduling.
- Support annual renewals for insurance and other policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in Xero accounting software.
- Familiarity with payroll and HR software, preferably Charlie HR.
- Excellent organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
