Location: Greater London/Essex border (countryside setting)Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)Salary: £43,897 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Occupational Therapist to join a dedicated multidisciplinary team within a specialist mental health and neuro-rehabilitation setting. This full-time role offers the chance to work in a therapeutic, nature-rich environment designed to support recovery and holistic care.

Role Overview

As an Occupational Therapist, you will support individuals with complex mental health needs through assessment, therapeutic intervention, and recovery-focused care planning. You’ll work closely with colleagues from a range of disciplines to provide tailored interventions that enhance each individual’s ability to lead a more independent and fulfilling life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out detailed assessments of clients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs

  • Develop and implement personalised, evidence-based treatment plans

  • Deliver therapy via individual and group sessions

  • Provide recommendations and training on adaptive equipment and environmental modifications

  • Maintain accurate documentation and regularly update care plans

  • Work collaboratively with other professionals, families, and support networks

Requirements:
  • BSc (Hons) or Diploma in Occupational Therapy

  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

  • Experience within a clinical or therapeutic setting (preferably with mental health or neuro-rehabilitation exposure)

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • A resilient, compassionate approach to working in complex care environments
