Occupational Health Nurse Responsibilities:
- Lead health assessments to ensure compliance with workplace health and safety policies, supporting a safe and productive environment for all
- Spot and address potential health risks in the workplace, helping to prevent issues before they arise
- Support employees on long-term sick leave or returning to work, offering expert guidance and compassion throughout the process
- Prepare comprehensive occupational health reports that clearly outline findings, recommendations, and follow-up actions
- Recommend reasonable adjustments tailored to individual employee
- Provide immediate assistance to employees who experience illness or injury at work, ensuring their care and safety are a priority
- Travel between sites to carry out on-site health checks and monitor compliance with health and safety standards
- Review and advise on health and safety policies, ensuring they remain robust, up-to-date, and effective
- Maintain accurate records of employee health, incidents, and ongoing concerns in line with confidentiality standards
- Manage health-related supplies, ensuring stock levels are maintained and accessible when needed
Occupational Health Nurse Skills and Experience:
- Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong clinical foundation and a passion for workplace wellbeing
- Hands-on experience in Occupational Health, ideally within a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Confident across all areas of occupational health, from conducting health assessments to producing detailed reports with actionable insights
- Holds a BSc or MSc in Occupational Health
- Naturally personable and adaptable, able to build trust quickly and navigate a variety of situations with ease and empathy
- Full UK driving licence required as you'll be travelling between sites and playing a key role in delivering consistent, high-quality health services across the business
