Nursery Assistant - Randstad Education : Job Details

Randstad is seeking a Nursery Assistant to join our client's team in Wirral. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children in a supportive and rewarding environment.

• Contribute to a planned programme of activities suitable to the age range of children.
• Maintain accurate records of children's achievements for parents/carers.
• Collaborate with parents/carers of children with special needs to ensure full integration.
• Support all staff and foster a positive team environment.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures to uphold standards.
• Safeguard children by adhering to the company's safeguarding code of conduct.
• Liaise with and support parents/carers and other family members.
• Participate in out-of-hours activities, such as training and staff meetings.

• Excellent communication skills with children, colleagues, and parents/carers.
• Patience, reliability, and trustworthiness.
• Positive approach to inclusive practice with children and colleagues.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing working hours occasionally.
• Completion of a recognised Level 2 Childcare qualification (or working towards completion).
• Understanding of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene in the workplace.
