Nursery Teaching Assistant | Lewisham | September 2025 Start

Reeson Education are working with a welcoming primary school in Lewisham who are seeking a full-time Nursery Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. This is a rewarding role supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), working closely with the class teacher and SEN staff to provide a nurturing learning environment.

• Supporting children in the Nursery (EYFS) setting with their early learning and development

• Working 1:1 and in small groups with pupils, including some children with SEN needs

• Assisting with planning and delivering engaging activities that follow the EYFS framework

• Helping create a safe, positive and inclusive classroom environment

• Collaborating with teachers, parents and external professionals where needed

• CACHE Level 2 or higher qualification in Early Years / Childcare (essential)

• Previous experience supporting children in EYFS (nursery or reception)

• Understanding of child development and early learning milestones

• Experience supporting children with SEN (desirable but not essential)

• Must be available full-time for the full academic year

• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
