Job Description :

We are currently seeking a Northern Regional Manager to join a well-established, family-run SME. You will work within the fast paced, exciting management team focusing on sales growth. This role will thrive on delivering customer solutions that include, clean water booster sets and waste water packages.

The primary task is to lead sales activities in the Northern Region which consists of sub-areas - Scotland, North West, North East and Ireland to all market sectors. The role will be located in Wigan and will have responsibility directly of the sales and support functions along with dotted line management of other functions that would include; after sales, order processing, manufacture, technical support, warehousing.

Principal Responsibilities/Duties

  • Engage existing contacts and build a network of key stakeholders within the Region
  • Manage a team of external BDMs and Internal Sales Execs
  • Manage a list of existing consultants, customers and develop a defined list of new potential accounts
  • To create a relationship to become the "go-to" contact for pumping systems offering technical support
  • Work with a wider management team covering a similar role in other parts of the UK, internal leads of functions that support sales activities
  • Mentor team members
  • Attend and lead on-site or video conferencing meetings
  • Lead and propose commercial terms in order to win orders
  • Present when necessary company capabilities
  • Manage a secured pipeline of opportunities/ quotes
  • Forecast orders
Requirements
  • Self-motivated, tenacious, inquisitive, driven to succeed, and results oriented - want to win
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills comfortable in networking with internal and external contacts
  • A recognised individual in the market
  • Friendly demeanour that can build relationships easily
  • Experience and knowledge of key influencers, key contractors and contacts in the Water Industry
  • Can do attitude, happy to arrange, attend and lead meetings
  • Operate as part of a wider team
  • Technical acumen of pumping systems
  • Commercial acumen with strong negotiation skills and knowledge of T&Cs
  • Organised and capable to fill own diary with quality meetings
  • Competent Level of IT Skills
  • At least 3 years experience in the sector
