TSR Legal is proud to be working with a well-established and growing regional law firm with strong Welsh roots, in their search for a Solicitor to join their respected Lifetime Planning team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with a keen interest in private client work and rural matters to develop their expertise in a specialist area. The team focuses on estate planning and estate administration for agricultural and rural clients, including farming families, landowners, and rural businesses.

As a Solicitor, you will support the team in delivering tailored succession and inheritance planning solutions. You’ll gain exposure to high-value and often complex matters, helping clients navigate multi-generational wealth preservation and rural estate administration.

You will assist with:

Drafting wills, LPAs, and trusts

Probate and tax planning matters

Estate administration involving Agricultural Property Relief (APR) and Business Property Relief (BPR)

Supporting partners on landed estate management and rural succession planning

Key Responsibilities

Provide advice across all aspects of lifetime estate planning

Administration of estates with agricultural and business elements

Work closely with senior team members on client matters, ensuring excellent client service

Develop client relationships and enhance your sector knowledge

Collaborate with other departments (e.g. Property and Corporate) on cross-disciplinary work

Participate in training and development opportunities within the team

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for a Solicitor / Associate who demonstrates:

A genuine interest in private client work, particularly within rural or agricultural sectors

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

A proactive, client-focused attitude with excellent interpersonal skills

The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

A collaborative and positive mindset.
