New Business Commercial Account Handler
We’re partnering with a highly regarded insurance brokerage seeking a New Business Commercial Account Handler to join their new and growing Sussex team. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to build their own client base, win new business, and progress their career within a supportive environment.
The Role
- Manage inbound enquiries and follow up on leads generated by the wider business (approx. 50%)
- Proactively generate new business through networking, LinkedIn outreach, and client meetings (approx. 50%)
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline across Sussex
- Handle client renewals and provide excellent ongoing service
- Build long-term client relationships through regular contact and meetings
- Identify and secure opportunities to expand the client base
About You
- Proven experience as an Account Handler, with ambition to step into a sales-focused role
- Strong business development skills, with the ability to generate and convert opportunities
- Confident in handling renewals and managing client relationships at all levels
- Ambitious, motivated, and eager to progress your career
