Network Engineer - Contract - Ninetech : Job Details

My client, a consultancy Organisation that specialises in digital transformation is on the lookout for a Senior Network Engineer on a contractual basis.

Location: Fully Remote (Must be based in the UK)

Salary: £450 P/D (Outside of IR35)

Duration: 6 Months

Key Experience

• Proficiency in identifying and resolving complex routing issues with protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
• Minimum five years of professional experience in IT and network fields.
• Knowledgeable in ITIL process applications.
• Holds pertinent networking technical certifications.
• Skilled in managing network infrastructure changes in compliance with established configuration and change management policies.

Extensive hands-on experience in:

o Deploying and managing CiscoACI software-defined networks across multiple sites and pods.

o Deep understanding of protocols like IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.

o Utilizing network management tools such as SolarWinds.

o Working with CitrixNetScaler's, various network firewalls (Palo Alto, CiscoFirepower, CiscoASA & AnyConnect Remote Access), and Identity Services including AAA & CiscoISE.

• Responsible for performing network maintenance and system upgrades, including firmware, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations.
