Here at settle we are recruiting for an exciting new Neighbourhoods Facility Support role within our Housing team. You will be passionate about housing and have strong customer service skills - completing a range of tasks to support with our service delivery as well as completing routine fire checks within our independent living schemes for older people on a weekly basis.

Requirements

Outline of Key Responsibilities...

  • Ensure all buildings meet fire compliance by carrying out weekly fire system checks, reporting defects and logging all checks have been completed.
  • Ensure health and safety standards are maintained in the buildings when carrying out your duties.
  • Report any issues or breaches of tenancy conditions identified.
  • Raise the relevant items identified during inspections and follow these through to completion often meaning liaising with other teams within the organisation.
  • Ensure Evacuation processes are complete and updated.
  • Liaise with Contractors who are working on site.
  • Organise for block letters to be sent on request.
  • Support with the removal of vehicles identified as abandoned through the online process.
  • Support with the removal of waste on our land, instructing contractors and raising orders.
  • Liaise with colleagues to ensure access to schemes is available when required.

We are looking for someone who has...

  • Confidence in talking to customers and other colleagues on both the telephone and in person.
  • The ability to manage their own work and contribute to team objectives. 
  • Have great organisational skills
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
  • Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively
  • Communicate clearly in writing and verbally
  • Work with residents to deliver high-trust, low-effort solutions.
  • Maintain confidentiality whilst promoting good customer service with residents.
  • Take a flexible approach to work responding to issues as they arise.
