Working from home around three days a week reflects just how flexible the company is and how the focus is firmly fixed on outputs not inputs so you’ll need to be self motivated.
Your new role (National Account Manager)
As the National Account Manager you will have the opportunity to work with major Grocery accounts and retailers including Asda, Morrisons, Waitrose, Ocado and WH Smith worth ~£2m of Net Revenue in total.
Your primary task is to help move away from a transactional relationship towards that of a strategic partner which will test your account management knowledge but don’t worry as you’re not on your own and you will be supported by a close knit team of experienced National Account Managers. So you’ll be able to see how they operate and more importantly learn from them as you transition from category management to sales.
You’ll see breadth across the entire business across sales, marketing, category, product and logistics which is unique but operating within a matrix organisation isn’t for everyone.
