Are you a creative and enthusiastic Music Teacher looking to share your passion in a meaningful and rewarding setting?

We are excited to be supporting a specialise SEN school in the Croydon area that are looking for an experienced Music Teacher to join their brilliant school.

This school caters for pupils from KS1 - KS4 with a range of complex needs including MLD and SLD. This school is well known for the outstanding care and curriculum they provide their pupils and they are looking for someone just as passionate to join them!

You will be able to tailor lessons depending on the pupils needs, abilities and interests.

We are looking for someone with:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS, or relevant teaching qualification
• Experience teaching music in a mainstream or specialist setting
• Knowledge or experience of working with pupils with MLD/SLD needs
• An ability to plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons using a multi-sensory approach
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• A warm, flexible, and patient attitude, with a passion for inclusive education

You do not have to have prior experience in an SEN school. If you have worked as a Music Teacher in a mainstream school but have a passion for SEN pupils and want to take that step in the sector - we would also love to hear from you.
