Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop and deliver an engaging and comprehensive Music curriculum from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5. 

• Lead and motivate a talented team of staff, providing support and resources for delivering high-quality education. 

• Collaborate closely with the Curriculum Lead for Drama to promote the Performing Arts across the school. 

• Shape the co-curricular provision, offering a variety of activities to develop students' musical skills and talents. 

• Play a key role in organizing the annual school production and other extracurricular activities such as bands, choirs, and theory clubs. 

Requirements: 

• Secure understanding of curriculum development and delivery in Music, including knowledge of exam specifications at KS4 and A Level. 

• Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to motivate staff and students towards excellence. 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for promoting the value of music and performing arts. 

• Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment where all students can thrive academically and creatively.
