Multiskilled Engineer (Mechanical bias) ?? Location: Radstock, UK ?? Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Our client is a national food manufacturer with eight sites across the UK who is looking to add a Multiskilled Engineer to the engineering team based at the Somerset site. This is a hands-on and varied role where you'll be part of an on-site engineering team, ensuring the site operates safely, efficiently and reliably. Multiskilled Engineer - Responsibilities  

• Carrying out planned, reactive, and preventative maintenance on production and intake systems.
• Troubleshooting and resolving breakdowns, minimising downtime.
• Liaising closely with colleagues to support continuous production.
• Driving continuous improvement in efficiency, safety, quality and performance.
• Ensuring accurate maintenance records are kept for compliance and safety.

Multiskilled Engineer - Requirements

• A recognised qualification/apprenticeship in mechanical and electrical engineering.
• Minimum 17th Edition certification (18th Edition desirable).
• Experience in industrial engineering environments with both short and long-term project delivery.
• Good knowledge of Star Delta, PLCs and Safe Isolation processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well within a team.
