About the Role:

Freight Import Operator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of freight shipments. This position requires a strong understanding of ocean freight operations, documentation, and trade terms.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the complete Multimodal Freight Operations process from quotation to delivery.
• Provide competitive quotes for shipments, ensuring maximum profitability.
• Communicate effectively with shippers, hauliers, and carriers throughout the transport process.
• Manage key accounts efficiently, ensuring smooth handling from booking to successful delivery.
• Prepare and manage all necessary documentation accurately and on time.
• Handle customs import and export documentation with precision.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by addressing their inquiries promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 2 years of experience in freight operations.

· Strong understanding of ocean freight documentation and procedures.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills.

· Attention to detail and accuracy.

· Good communication and interpersonal skills.
