About the RoleWe are currently seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the Maintenance team at the Cliffe site. This is a key role responsible for maintaining and improving all fixed plant and facilities, supporting preventative maintenance to maximise equipment availability, performance and product quality.
You will play an integral part in ensuring operations run safely, efficiently and to the highest standards, while working collaboratively across teams to deliver continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance and improvement of all fixed plant and facilities
- Support and implement preventative maintenance to ensure maximum availability, performance and quality
- Work in a safe manner, ensuring all plant is kept in safe operating condition
- Contribute to SHE policy and procedures with the aim of achieving an accident-free workplace
- Operate and maintain plant to deliver world class performance, quality and cost
- Build strong working relationships across manufacturing and non-manufacturing teams to support excellent customer service
- Identify and participate in continuous improvement initiatives across equipment and processes
What We're Looking For
- Qualified engineer with electrical bias and mechanical skills
- Strong manufacturing experience, ideally with lean knowledge
- High level of SHE awareness and commitment to safe working practices
- Ability to work to agreed quality standards with minimal supervision
- A team player with strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Proactive approach to identifying and implementing improvements
