Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Job Type: Full-time, 4 on 4 off shift pattern

We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join an FMCG manufacturing team in Canterbury. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who thrives in a dynamic environment, ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing equipment and systems.

• Conduct routine maintenance and testing of manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical faults in a timely and efficient manner.
• Implement preventative maintenance measures to minimise equipment downtime and maximise productivity.
• Collaborate with the production team to coordinate maintenance activities without disrupting manufacturing processes.
• Update and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and machine performance.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.

• Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, preferably in an FMCG manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment.
• Familiarity with maintenance systems and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., HNC, HND, BEng).
