£54,959 P/A + benefits

Shifts: 3s and 2s Panama shift pattern Days / Nights rotating

If you’re looking to continue a career in Engineering and want to join our market-leading company, then this is a great opportunity for you. Our client is looking for a  hard-working and experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer with an Electrical bias, to join their busy Maintenance Team.

Your main responsibilities will be to ensure the continuous running of the production process by eliminating downtime through a safe and logical approach to fault finding and maintenance of equipment. You will work on various types of equipment including complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic control systems.

Skills required for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer 

• A good mechanical working knowledge with electrical experience is essential

• Time served/apprentice trained in a similar position ideally with Electrical qualifications (C&G 2320 P1 & P2, ONC, NVQ 3 or equivalent)

• A thorough understanding of the IEE 18th edition

• Good understanding of current environmental and health and safety issues and knowledge of regulatory requirements.

• Practical hands-on approach

• Have significant experience, understanding, and knowledge of the maintenance of a variety of plant

• Experience in electrical fault finding, defect rectification, and routine maintenance activities

• Ability to interrogate/understand maintenance problems to provide accurate plant condition information/recommendations.

• Excellent communication skills, dealing with operatives, Team leaders from both maintenance and production
