We’re working with a well-established and forward-thinking manufacturing business based in Norfolk. Known for their innovation, quality, and strong team culture, they’re looking to bring a Multi Skilled Engineer on board to help keep their production lines moving and evolving.

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll be right at the heart of the action, keeping machinery running, solving problems quickly when things go wrong, and making improvements that help everything run a bit smoother every day. Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out planned maintenance (PPM) on a range of equipment to prevent breakdowns and keep everything safe.
• Jumping into action to fix breakdowns quickly and efficiently, keeping downtime to a minimum.
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical systems, especially those involving hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Supporting continuous improvement projects and helping implement smarter ways of working.
• Working alongside other engineers to install or upgrade machinery as the business grows.
• Making sure everything’s up to scratch when it comes to health & safety.

What we’re looking for:

• A solid background as a Multi Skilled Engineer, ideally in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Hands-on experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• A proactive attitude to maintenance - you know the value of prevention as well as fast fixes.
• Great problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• A good understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
• Someone who works well in a team and communicates clearly on the job.
