Working closely with production, you'll be part of a small but dynamic group that keeps operations moving smoothly. No two days will be the same - from planned maintenance and continuous improvement projects to reactive challenges, you'll be at the heart of it all.This is a shift-based role (Monday to Friday) working a rotation of earlies, lates, and nights.What we're looking for:" Minimum Level II City & Guilds qualification in an engineering discipline" 17th or 18th Edition certified" Multi-skilled engineering experience within a manufacturing environment" Experience controlling and liaising with OEMs, suppliers, and contractors" Knowledge of PLC controls and confident with Microsoft IT systems" Ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical diagrams" Welding experience" Strong communication skills and a collaborative approachWhat you'll be doing:" Carrying out planned maintenance tasks using the Shire CMMS system" Attending breakdowns, fault-finding, and implementing fixes" Taking sole responsibility for engineering tasks during your shift" Working closely with production to plan shutdowns and provide updates in daily meetings" Acting as a health & safety champion, ensuring compliance with safe systems of work (Permit to Work, PPE, Working at Height, Isolation, Risk Assessments, etc.)Why join ?"
