Position: Multi Skilled Engineer / Maintenance EngineerSalary: £48,000 to £53,000 per annum (£55k - £60k+ with potential overtime), plus Annual Bonus, 10% Pension, Profit Share Scheme, Recognition Awards, Overtime paid at x1.5 & x2.0, 25 days holiday plus bank holidaysHours: Monday to Thursday, 10pm till 6am AND short day Friday, 6pm till 12am (perm nights)Location: Commutable from Newbury, Swindon, Chippenham, Cirencester, Faringdon, Yate, Marlborough, Oxford and surrounding areasCompanyWe are currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled Engineer / Maintenance Engineer to work within a busy factory environment, looking after the day to day maintenance of their production machinery, completing PPM's and attending swiftly to machinery problems and breakdowns. You will also support various projects that include multi million pound machinery upgrades and installations.They offer great benefits from annual bonuses, employee recognition awards, 10% pension contributions, training and development, and potential annual increments on salary too!It would suit someone who is apprentice trained and qualified, enjoys a variety of work, willing to learn new skills and happy to work in a heavy plant environment where you can expect to get your hands dirty. Team fit is very important too, someone who is a team player with strong and clear communication skills.ResponsibilitiesWhilst working in this large company, you will be benefit from working in a small team on night shift. The role is focusing on Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance across all plant machinery, with a heavy bias on dealing with breakdowns re-actively as well as supporting planned preventative maintenance and project work. The role provides autonomy, accountability and a degree of flexibility.· Focusing on electrical and mechanical maintenance work across all plant and machinery through fault finding, planned maintenance, planned maintenance shut downs and project work.· Identification of solutions that improve efficiency and reduce costs.· Support the handover of work to the opposite shift and ensure works are logged and recorded.· To work safely at all times and follow safe systems of work.· To be actively involved in the development and continued planned preventative maintenance schedule.Machinery in this environment is mainly all plastics related, including extruding, moulding, conveyors, mixers, hydraulics.Requirements· Apprentice trained and qualified either through an Apprenticeship or hold electrical engineering qualifications.· Background in a similar environment.
