• Must hold a recognised Motor Vehicle/Mechanics qualification at Level 2 or above.
• Must hold a minimum of 3 years' experience within the Motor Vehicle sector.
• Experience of delivering on-the-job training within the workplace, or accredited training. 
• Must be IT Literate.

Duties include:

• Teach/assess a caseload of unemployed learners through Motor Vehicle qualifications at Level 1, as well as accredited Employability training.
• Delivery of practical and theory training sessions.
• Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills knowledge and behaviours
• Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
• Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
• Embedding of Maths and English into sessions.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
