Key Responsibilities
- Manage motor claims from initial instruction through to settlement, ensuring high-quality service and technical accuracy
- Conduct thorough investigations, gathering high-quality evidence including statements, photographs, and supporting documentation
- Communicate proactively with all relevant parties, prioritising telephone engagement to progress claims efficiently
- Demonstrate sound judgement in relation to liability, indemnity, and quantum, aligned with client requirements
- Produce clear, informative reports that reflect the value of involvement and keep clients fully updated
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of communications, decisions, milestones, and outcomes
- Allocate and manage your caseload in line with licensing requirements, escalating cases outside licence where appropriate
- Uphold TCF principles and ensure compliance with all client SLAs, KPIs, and internal procedures
- Contribute positively to the wider team, supporting knowledge sharing and collaborative working
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ motor claims handling experience
- Strong knowledge of motor claim processes and principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong investigative and analytical capabilities
- High level of IT literacy
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
- Able to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines
- Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to quality
- Cert CILA / Cert CII or equivalent qualifications desirable, but may not be essential
