Location:          Hertford

Job Type:           Temporary (1 month placement with the possibility of extension)Salary:                £14.42 per hourStart Date:         8th September

Hours:                Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm (40 hours a week)

My client, a reputable service centre based in Hertford, is currently seeking a qualified and experienced MOT Tester to join their dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a dynamic and customer-focused environment.

Role Overview:

The primary responsibility of this role is to carry out MOT tests in accordance with DVSA standards. In addition to MOT testing, the successful candidate may also be required to support the workshop with a range of ad hoc duties, including:

• Vehicle servicing
• Tyre replacements
• General repair work
• Relocation of vehicles on-site

Key Requirements:

• Valid DVSA MOT Tester Licence.
• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Flexible approach to work.
• Maintain workshop tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and tidy condition.
• All tasks must be completed to a high standard, ensuring both vehicle safety and customer satisfaction.
