Cameron James Professional Recruitment is delighted to be working in partnership with a well-established estate agency network to offer an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Mortgage Advisor / Mortgage Broker in the Welsh Valleys area. This hybrid role combines remote/home-based working with local branch visits, providing flexibility, structure, and the potential for truly high earnings.

You will be working across a small number of successful estate agency offices in Brynmawr, Pontypridd, and Cwmbran, alongside independently owned estate agents, all of whom supply a steady stream of quality leads.

This is a rare opportunity for a CeMAP-qualified Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker to join a forward-thinking financial services team where you can write 2-3 mortgages per week and achieve strong protection penetration - while earning £50K+ from year one.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide whole-of-market mortgage advice to clients, ensuring full regulatory compliance (FCA).
• Receive 7-10 new mortgage leads per week from estate agency branches and independent agents in the Welsh Valleys.
• Advise on residential mortgages, remortgages, first-time buyer, and buy-to-let cases.
• Offer a full suite of protection advice, including life insurance, critical illness, and income protection.
• Manage and grow your existing client base for remortgage opportunities and referrals.
• Collaborate with estate agency teams who are financially incentivised to refer leads directly to you.
• Use your CAS status and CeMAP/MAQ/CF6 qualification to deliver compliant and customer-centric advice.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• CeMAP (or equivalent) qualified - CF6 / MAQ also acceptable.

• Background in a brokerage, tied, estate agency, or bank mortgage role considered.
• Demonstrable experience writing regulated mortgage business and cross-selling protection.
• Motivated, self-starting and results-driven professional with excellent communication skills.
• Based within easy reach of Brynmawr, Pontypridd, or Cwmbran, and willing to work a hybrid model.
