About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced mortgage adviser with a strong track record in residential and later life lending. You will join on a self-employed basis and be supported with introducer leads, lender access, in-house compliance and admin, so you can focus on advising and growing your client base. Equity release qualification (CeRER) or demonstrable later life lending experience is required for this role.
Location: London, within practical commuting distance of Liverpool Street/Moorgate. We encourage regular office collaboration to benefit from the team environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Advise clients on residential mortgages and later life lending, including equity release where qualified
• Build strong client relationships and generate repeat business such as remortgages and later life solutions
• Build and maintain your own client pipeline, alongside converting high-quality leads provided by LDN Finance
• Develop introducer relationships and expand your own network to create additional business opportunities
• Manage a pipeline of cases from application through to completion, working with introducers, solicitors, and lenders
• Stay current on lender criteria, products, and regulatory changes to provide informed advice
• Identify wider client needs such as protection or insurance and collaborate with colleagues to deliver holistic solutions
• Share expertise with colleagues and contribute to the firm’s collaborative, high-performing culture
• Work efficiently with our in-house compliance and admin teams to keep cases moving smoothly
About You
• Three or more years’ experience advising
• Proven residential lending expertise and demonstrable later life lending experience (CeRER preferred)
• FCA authorised with a clean compliance record
• Proven track record of consistent business volumes and career progression
• You bring an established pipeline and proven ability to generate new business, with the drive to expand this alongside quality firm-provided leads
• Excellent communication and a consultative approach
• Proactive, organised, and professional, with a focus on delivering excellent client outcomes
• Based within a practical commute to Liverpool Street and keen to be part of the collaborative office culture
Compensation and Benefits
• Self-employed, commission-only role with strong earnings potential
• On Target Earnings (OTE): £60,000 – £120,000+ depending on performance
