Day-to-day of the role:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in French and/or Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities at Key Stage 5.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic and personal development.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for learning languages.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share innovative teaching practices and resources.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich the educational experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- A degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching French and/or Spanish at the secondary level.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for teaching languages.
