Mobile HGV Trailer Technician - Camel Breakdown Assistance : Job Details

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HGV Trailer Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of heavy goods Trailers. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work independently.

4 on 4 off shifts, overtime available. Different shifts available for this role.

Must be confident and enthusiastic.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on site Trailer inspections and necessary repairs.
• Attend roadside breakdowns
• Carry out tail lift LOLER inspections
• Diagnose and rectify moving deck faults
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed on vehicles.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations while working.

Requirements

• 5 years proven experience as a HGV Trailer Technician is essential.
• Experience with Dhollandia tail lifts desired.
• Level 3 in heavy vehicle maintenance & repair.
• Experience in a similar mobile role.
• A valid driving license with no more than 6 penalty points
• The ability to meet ETA's consistently is essential.
