Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: London (Mobile Role)

Salary: Competitive + Overtime + Benefits

Hours: 8am - 5pm (Mon - Fri) + Call-Out Rota

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer with NICEIC Test & Inspection (2391) certification to join a well-established building services and maintenance provider. Covering London and surrounding areas, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality planned and reactive maintenance, testing and inspection, and minor electrical works across commercial and heritage properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance.
• Conduct electrical testing, inspection, and fault-finding (2391 qualification required).
• Complete Site Visit Reports (SVR) and feedback on works undertaken.
• Liaise with helpdesk, clients, and subcontractors to ensure smooth delivery.
• Support small works and minor fabric repairs where required.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures, RAMS, and permit-to-work systems.
• Participate in an on-call rota for 24-hour response as required.
• Maintain accurate timesheets and job records.

Skills & Experience:

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Engineering (essential).
• 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations.
• City & Guilds 2391 Test & Inspection (essential).
• Experience in commercial building services, facilities management, or property maintenance.
• Basic plumbing/hot water systems or general building maintenance (desirable).
• Computer literate with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
