Minute Taker

We are seeking two Minute Takers to support Safeguarding conferences in Barnsley. This role involves attending face-to-face meetings with professionals and family members, requiring reliable minute-taking skills. The successful candidates will need to be adaptable, as they may also support other meetings for the wider Business Support teams.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Attend Safeguarding conferences and other relevant meetings to take detailed minutes.
- Travel between Barnsley Town Centre and Darton Centre as required for meetings.
- Initially work full-time from Westgate or Darton offices for the first 6 weeks.
- Post-initial period, work from the office at least 3 days per week, with the possibility of additional days depending on business needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in minute-taking, preferably in a professional or formal setting.
- Ability to travel between multiple locations within Barnsley, either by car or public transport.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent listening skills to accurately record information.
- Good organisational skills to manage schedules and meeting logistics.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
