Milling Technician - CAM

Stroud – Days - Permanent – Fulltime – Highly Competitive Salary

My client Is looking for a skilled, Hands-on, Milling Technician with Hypermill CAM experience, potential for progression into Production Manager. Must be highly experienced in both producing and programming Aerospace Machined Components

The role:

•      Set and operate CNC machines with Fanuc/Heidenhain.

•      CAM Programming using HyperMill.

•      Self-inspect, including quality, cleaning, and de-burring.

•      Confidently interpret technical specifications and drawings

•      Continually assess tool condition and maintain as necessary.

•      Excellent attention to detail

•      Team player with the ability to work using your own initiative. 

The Person:

•      Motivated, highly organised Programmer/Machinist.

•      Experienced with HyperMill – Essential

•      Experience working with Fanuc and/or Heidenhain controlled CNC Machinery

•      Experience using a variety of inspection equipment including verniers, callipers.

•      Experience in production machining environment.

•      Computer literate, good numeracy, and literacy skills.

•      Aerospace AS9100 experience
