Are you able to deliver French and Spanish? Would you be interested in joining and inclusive and supportive school in Watford?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Teacher to support with Spanish teaching in a well run MFL department and teach pupils in years 7-11. This is for a September or ASAP start on a full time or 0.8 basis. With a strong focus on academic excellence and supportive for all teachers the school offers a collaborative working environment.

As a member of the schools staffing team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the HOD and passionate MFL team who are committed to providing the best possible education for our students. Pupils here are engaged learners, eager to develop their language skills. The school school has a strong track record of success in national exams.

We are seeking a talented and committed MFL Teacher able to Spanish to Key stage 3, a 2nd language would be an advatnage but isn't essential. We are looking to appoint a passionate experienced or ECT to start ahead of September. The ideal candidate will be able to inspire and motivate our students, and will have a proven track record of delivering outstanding results.

Duties include

  • Planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons in Modern Foreign Languages (MFL)
  • Inspiring and motivating students to achieve their full potential in MFL
  • Assessing and tracking student progress, and providing feedback to students and parents/carers
  • Developing and implementing strategies to support the progress of students who may need additional help or challenge in MFL
  • Contributing to the development of the MFL curriculum, and to school-wide initiatives to improve teaching and learning
  • Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, behaviour and achievement
  • Providing support and guidance to students on academic and pastoral matters
  • Communicating effectively with colleagues, parents/carers and external stakeholders
  • Participating in school events and extracurricular activities as required
  • Engaging in ongoing professional development to enhance your knowledge and skills in MFL teaching and learning.
