Our client, a leading supplier of green gas and electricity, are looking for a Metering Operations Coordinator to join their team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in helping customers resolve smart meter issues, addressing billing queries, and analysing energy data to ensure accuracy. Key responsibilities:
- Assist customers and industry stakeholders over the phone
- Manage queries related to smart meters, energy consumption, and billing concerns.
- Extract, manipulate, and validate energy data to produce accurate reports.
- Analyse and interpret industry-specific data flows to identify trends or errors.
- Apply analytical skills to diagnose and explain underlying issues and trends.
Skills and experience required:
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts for customers.
- Energy/utilities experience highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills—empathetic, proactive, and solution-focused.
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify errors and opportunities for improvement.
- Ability to work independently, with a willingness to seek guidance when needed.
- Energy industry experience - desirable
