Membership Engagement Officer - Eclectic Recruitment : Job Details

Our Cambridge-based client is looking for a dedicated and relationship-focused Membership Engagement Officer to take ownership of account management for a growing and diverse membership base. In this role, you’ll act as the primary point of contact for existing members, ensuring they receive a high level of service, support, and value from their membership.

You’ll play a key role in nurturing relationships, managing renewals, driving engagement with services, and identifying opportunities to deepen long-term member satisfaction and retention.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as an account manager for a portfolio of existing members, providing personalised and responsive support
• Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships to ensure high levels of member satisfaction and retention
• Oversee onboarding of new members
• Manage and track renewal cycles, ensuring timely communication and completion of membership agreements
• Constantly strive to maximise revenue with existing members
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across CRM and reporting systems (e.g. Salesforce, Excel)
• Analyse account data and feedback to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement
• Support the planning and delivery of member-focused events, communications, and engagement campaigns

Requirements:

• Experience in a membership engagement or account management role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach
• Skilled in using CRM platforms (e.g., SalesForce)
• Organised and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
