Role: Medical Negligence Solicitor /AssociateEmployer: Confidential - National Law FirmLocation: Liverpool (Hybrid - office/home mix)Contract: Permanent, full-timeSalary: £45,000 - £65,000 DOE + benefitsOverviewCRA Consulting is recruiting for a leading national practice seeking a Medical Negligence Solicitor/Associate (3+ PQE) in Liverpool. You'll manage your own claimant caseload (including litigated matters) and support partners on complex, high-value claims-delivering excellent client outcomes within a collaborative, well-resourced team.Key responsibilities* Run a varied claimant clinical negligence caseload end-to-end (pre-action to settlement/trial)* Assist on complex, high-value matters: obstetric/neonatal, anaesthetic, neurosurgical, cardiac, oncology, psychiatric care, catastrophic injury and fatal claims* Draft pleadings, witness statements and instructions to experts/counsel; manage evidence and quantum* Provide clear, empathetic client care and timely, pragmatic advice* Collaborate with internal teams (rehabilitation, Court of Protection, PI) to deliver seamless serviceAbout you* UK-qualified Solicitor (or FCILEX) with ~3+ PQE in claimant clinical negligence* Demonstrable litigation experience and confident file ownership* Strong drafting/analysis, organisation and stakeholder management* Team-oriented, proactive and committed to qualityBenefits* 25 days' holiday + bank holidays (holiday purchase scheme)* Competitive, flexible pension arrangements* Two paid volunteering days annually* Health cash plan and digital GP service* Comprehensive wellbeing initiatives and genuine hybrid working* Inclusive culture with structured developmentHow to applyClick "Apply Now" with your CV, or contact Rob Addy - CRA Consulting at for a confidential discussion.
