The Role

As a Media Studies Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 4 and 5, including GCSE and A-Level Media Studies
• Develop students' understanding of media concepts, audiences, and production techniques
• Use a variety of teaching methods to support diverse learning needs
• Prepare students for assessments and support their academic progress
• Encourage involvement in media-related extracurricular activities and projects

Person Specification / Requirements

To be successful, you will:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching Media Studies at GCSE and A-Level
• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom management
• Hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS
• Have the legal right to work in the UK
• Provide a CV covering the last 10 years of employment history where possible
