Mechanical Technician - New Appointments Group : Job Details

Mechanical Technician Location: SheernessHours: Full-time, 39-hour working weekSalary: Competitive + overtime + excellent benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Technician to join a growing team working on industry-leading driveline systems. This is a workshop-based role with occasional travel, offering the chance to work on a variety of equipment including transmissions, torque converters, axles, and associated driveline products.

The Role:

• Carry out repairs, overhauls, servicing, and maintenance on a range of driveline components.
• Work from technical documentation to ensure all work meets required standards.
• Occasionally travel to customer sites as required.
• Follow health and safety guidelines, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

What We're Looking For:

• Recognised qualification or proven industry experience in mechanical engineering.
• Basic understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems (advantageous).
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
