Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - Reed : Job Details

• Annual Salary: £40,000 - £46,000 + Overtime + Callout Bonus
• Location: Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex (BN43)

• Carry out reactive and preventative maintenance on crushers, conveyors, gearboxes, and mechanical handling systems.
• Perform strip-downs, rebuilds, and welding/fabrication as required.
• Work safely around large industrial plant in accordance with Health & Safety procedures.
• Participate in out-of-hours callout rota (1 in 4, with standby bonus).
• Maintain parts inventory and support plant upgrades and refurbishment projects.

• Mechanically biased engineer or fitter with experience in heavy industry.
• Able to work independently and respond to breakdowns under pressure.
• Comfortable in outdoor/dirty environments and working at height.
• Welding or fabrication experience highly desirable.
