Mechanical Quality Inspector - Inspection opportunity with this successful and fast expanding sheet metal section of this wonderful business. You will check sheet metal, fabricated and welded assemblies against engineering drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed mechanical inspections of sheet metal components to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to verify product dimensions.
• Perform quality inspections during the production process to adhere to industry standards and customer requirements.
• Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarise rework and waste; input production data into quality databases.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain and calibrate inspection tools and equipment for accuracy and reliability.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience around sheet metal work and quality inspection in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and engineering blueprints.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality standards.
• Familiarity with various quality inspection tools and equipment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
