Job title:Mechanical Wagon Fitter - Outside IR35Job location:WorksopHourly pay rate:£20 Ltd Own Ltd CompanyShifts:DaysHours per week:40 hours per week plus occasional overtimeDuration:3 Months with possible extensionStart date:13/5/24Industries considered:Rolling StockDisciplines considered:Mechanical FittingClient Summary:Service and repair of Rail Maintenance Vehicles (Stoneblowers)Position SummaryWe are looking for a number of Team Players to join a small but busy team responsible for the strip, build and maintenance of Rail Maintenance Vehicles (Stoneblowers)Working a day shift within the heart of the Client's Site, the role will involve the complete strip and disassembly of Stoneblowers to undertake key maintenance.Person Profile/Experience:We are looking for technically capable fitters with at least 12 months experience of working on Rail Wagons, rolling stock, HGV or heavy mobile plant, ex-Military with a suitable technical/engineering background encouraged to apply. You will be hands on, competent and confident on the tools and be capable of working to engineering drawings and schematicsYour experience will be predominantly within a mechanically biased backgroundYou will be physically fit and healthy, have a good sense of humour and be prepared to work outdoors where required.Due to the nature of the work/role, an appreciation of H&S at work is essential, plus in line with Rail Industry Protocols there is a zero policy re being under the influence of Drugs & Alcohol whilst at work.
