This interesting role is to work on various types of assembly and fitting to a high standard for equipment used in a variety of industries.Key Responsibilities
- Experience in mechanical motor fitting/stripping and rebuilding.
- Experience in building air pneumatics.
- Experience in building and fitting bearing housings.
- Candidates need to be able to read and have good understanding of engineering drawings.
- Be proficient with the use of various hand tools and mechanical equipment.
- Have significant experience of building special purpose machinery.
- Experience in Hydraulics.
- Maintain good housekeeping/good order, motivation and discipline while working in the factory or on site.
- Uphold Health & Safety – Risk assessments/Method statements.
- Follow the company rules and rulings communicated via management.
City & Guilds Qualifications in Engineering would be an advantage or a good engineering background.What we can offer:

You would be contracted to work 39 hours per week, Monday – Friday with a 10 minute break 10.00 am - 10.10 am and ½ hour lunch-break 1.00 pm - 1.30 pmWorking Hours:Monday 7.30 am - 1.00 pm / 1.30 pm - 4.00 pmTuesday 7.30 am - 1.00 pm / 1.30 pm - 4.30 pmWednesday/Thursday 7.30 am - 1.00 pm / 1.30 pm - 5.00 pmFriday 7.30 am - 12 noon (unless working overtime).Overtime is generally available paid at 1.5 times hourly rate Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings. It is expected that a reasonable amount of overtime be worked as requested by Supervisor or Manager.
