Mechanical Fitter - Elevation Recruitment Group : Job Details

Role: Maintenance Fitter (Mechanical)Location: OtleySalary: £45,000 - £50,000Shifts:

• There are 4 main shifts, each working 12-hour rotations
• A 5th shift team/person is available to provide cover for holidays, absences, training, or any operational needs
• Day Shift: 5:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Night Shift: 5:30 PM – 5:30 AM

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical systems and equipment
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of machinery
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or similar role
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Proficient in using hand and power tools
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Relevant mechanical engineering or technical qualification is preferred
