Mechanical Fitter - Venn Group : Job Details

A position has arisen for a Mechanical Fitter within a leading NHS Trust in Blackpool. This is a key role on an ongoing basis.The successful candidate must have experience as a Mechanical Fitter.

Your duties will include:

• Carry out repairs and planned maintenance of plumbing and mechanical infrastructure 
• Diagnose, repair all faults on engineering installations, plant and equipment
• Ensure works carried out comply with health and safety work act and all current legislation and/or guidance
• Working on Ventilation, pipework, Steam, Hot & Cold water systems
• Undertake a range of authorised person duties in specific specialist areas where appropriate training has been provided; eg pressure systems, water management and legionella control

The successful candidate should have:

• Previous experience working in a mechanical based role
• City & Guilds or NVQ 
• Specialist knowledge in technical developments in estates maintenance
• Standard DBS will be carried out on all successful candidates
