Mechanical Fitter (Hydraulics) - Manufacturing & Engineering - Trafford Park, Manchester - Up to £33,300  About the Company Our client is a leading global provider of hydraulic innovative and highly efficient transport solutions for the commercial vehicle and environmental service industries.  Its products are used worldwide across a range of sectors including transport, construction, mining, materials handling and environmental services providers.As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for analysing technical malfunctions, defects and repairs of hydraulic equipment in commercial vehicles both in the workshop and out in the field in The North-West region.  Providing high standards of customer service and support whilst at customer sites out in the field.Mechanical Fitter (Hydraulics) - The Rewards

Mechanical Fitter (Hydraulics) - Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Understands mechanical engineering principles with a focus on hydraulics
  • A valid Driving Licence is essential
  • Occasional Support in other locations outside the North-West
  • Service Mechanic - Responsibilities  
Mechanical Fitter (Hydraulics) - Responsibilities 
  • Perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and installations of hydraulic systems on client premises and or in the workshop in the North West of England
  • Managing all on-site and out in the field of hydraulic systems installation, maintenance, repairs and testing and completion of documentation of all related processes
  • Installing of hydraulic components and systems according to specifications and industry standards
  • Diagnosing errors and technical problems
  • Applying mechanical engineering principles focussing on hydraulics for optimal performance
  • Delivering a great service and quality work
  • Updating workflow to schedules to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Collaborating with technical team and share information across the organisation to build relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Working to customer needs; making appropriate recommendations using filed automation systems & procedures
  • Ordering parts and components
  • Dealing with work orders & planning travel schedule
