Are you a mechanical design engineer with experience using SolidWorks and AutoCAD?

You will be designing products for the water, waste water, and energy industries, to revitalise and boost sustainability for every client. Using SolidWorks and AutoCAD, you will be creating designs and fabrication drawings while liaising with the construction and fabrication departments.

This role would suit an experienced mechanical design engineer who is passionate about making the world a more sustainable place, in a company who values your skill development and mental wellbeing.

The Role:

• Design products for the water, waste water, and energy industries
• Create design data including 2D drawings, calculations, BOM, equipment schedules, P & I diagrams, and component specifications
• Use SolidWorks and AutoCAD to create designs and fabrication drawings
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients to ensure effective communication throughout project delivery
• Adhere to ISO 90001 information exchange regulations
• Work effectively as part of a team in the engineering department to deliver high quality products in line with client expectations
• Conduct quality checks and develop risk assessments for each project

The Person:

• Degree in mechanical engineering or related field
• Experience in a mechanical design role
• Experience using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• Full UK driving licence
