*TRAVEL REQUIREDAre you a mechanical design engineer with an understanding of machining, sheet metal work and fabrication? Due to continued growth, my client is looking for a mechanical design engineer to join the team, working out of their state of the art facility in Basildon. The successful applicant will be creating manufacturing drawings and layouts, bill of materials and assembly drawings as well as maintaining and updating existing mechanical documentation when current equipment is upgraded. You will be a key link between the drawing office and the mechanical and commissioning team, ensuring that all bespoke projects are completed meeting company and customer standards and deadlines. As the business continue to expand and secure multiple large projects for the future, there will be a need to travel with the team to customer sites, all expenses will be covered, offering access to international travel.
